A favorite of large rental fleets, yet light and tough enough to fly to the “No Tell 'em River” in a remote region of Alaska. Weight of the New Wave 1 SB is approximately 94 lbs.! All New Wave Rafts have a few less features than the Wind Rafts, come in one color and sell for hundreds less. They feature three main tube air chambers and smaller 2" D-rings. The New Wave I is a dynamite paddle raft for two to six people, or will carry a small frame and two to three adults. New Waves have ten 2" D-rings, C-7 one-way valves, and flat self-bailing floors with 6" thick drop-stitch cores. Each model comes with two thwarts but is fitted with three pairs of knuckles so you can add a middle thwart for the best paddling configuration. All New Wave Rafts feature a full 5-year warranty, Maravia's TOUGH Class VI base fabric and the best URETHANE coating on the market - over 40 times the abrasion resistance of PVC and over 15 times the abrasion resistance of Hypalon. Tubes are royal blue, floors and thwarts are gray. This is my favorite Raft for small rivers and day trips!
