Our Warranties and Return Policies
Dear Valued Customer,
We recognize the important needs of our valued customers to have quality products that we fully guarantee and are returnable in the case
that they do not fit your needs. We do value and appreciate your business, so we will do everything in our power to make your returns or
warranty, a smooth and easy transaction according to the policies listed below.
Warranty Policy:
River Connection.com/The Boat Doctor will stand firmly behind all products sold on our website. If we can't guarantee products, we won't sell them.
We believe that if we stand behind our products, provide excellent customer service, at great prices with fast shipping, you will continue to
patronize us, and hopefully tell your friends and family about us! We guarantee all products sold and purchased on our website for one year to be
replaced free of charge. Any defects in workmanship and materials found in our products will be replaced at no cost to you, with the same or similar
product upon return to our processing center for inspection. Please send all warranties to the same address listed below, and mark the box and
correspondence "Attn. Warranties".
Returns Policy:
We understand that sometimes a product will not always fill your needs and may need to be returned. We appreciate your business so we will
handle your return smoothly and promptly. All products in original package not used, purchased on our website can be returned for credit
for the period of 30 days after purchase. Your return will be credited in full if returned within 30 days. If the item was shipped to you
from our Oregon shipping center, you may place the item back in it's original packaging and mark it "return to sender", and can result in
a free shipping return provided the package was never opened. If you have discarded the original packaging, or your item was shipped from
a manufacturer directly, or opened for inspection, you will need to ship to the return address listed below, assuming the return shipping
cost. After the first 30 days of your purchase, you may still return items up to 60 days with a 20% restocking fee assessed. Your item
will be credited to your method of payment within 25 days of receiving your return. Please allow two billing cycles for your return to
show on your statement. Sorry no returns on special manufactured parts or orders.
Hassle Free Return Instructions:
Simply "return to sender" the item(s) to our Oregon shipping center in it's original packaging, or the return address listed below if
packaging is no longer available, or shipped from other than an Oregon address. No RMA or authorization number is needed. Please include
either a copy of original invoice, any email correspondence, or packing slip so we can faster process your return. A short explanation of
why it did not suit your needs is not necessary, but would be greatly appreciated so we can meet our valued customers needs better.
Shipping
We make every effort to ship orders the same day they are received. Orders placed after 2pm (PST) on Friday will be shipped the following Monday.) On
3 day select if you order on a Friday after 2 pm and the holiday is on Monday your order will not be delivered on the following Monday. Please note
deliver times are expressed in transit days, which typically are business days. Saturday, Sunday and Holidays are excluded.
Motor Freight Goods
Most Rafts and Frames, must ship via Motor Freight. All products exceeding 108" (9 feet) in length will be shipped via Motor Freight. Shipping is
based on weight and/or dimensions. You will be contacted with the shipping total before your order is shipped. Please call for details 503-788-3077
International Orders
Shipping totals will be processed as TBD (To Be Determined). You will be contacted with the correct shipping total
before the order is shipped. International orders are subject to taxes, duties and broker fees. Such duties and
taxes will be billed to you separately by the shipping company. Flammables less than one Gallon are available to
certain areas within Canada via UPS Ground. Please call to see if your city qualifies. Please call for details on
shipping flammables to areas outside of the United States or Canada.
Over Seas Shipping:
Overseas shipping on boats, oars, frames, and aluminum dry boxes, you will need to contact your freight forwarder to handle the transaction. We will
ship to the freight forwarder only within the contenental United States. International orders are subject to taxes, duties and broker fees. Such
duties and taxes will be billed to you separately by the shipping company.
Oversize Shipping
Oversize items are subject to additional shipping charges, shipping is based on weight and/or dimensions. You will be contacted via email
with a shipping total once you submit the order. We will not ship your order until you confirm the shipping total. Items such as (but not
limited to) water containers, dry boxes, one-piece oars/paddles, barrels, firepans, tables, frames and frame components, rafts, and
catarafts are considered oversize items. All products exceeding 108"(9 feet) in length or 150 pounds in weight must be shipped via Motor
Freight.
Hazardous Materials
Due to heightened security concerns, even greater scrutiny is being given to shipment content. Based on regulatory changes, UPS procedures for
shipping air hazardous materials have been modified. Therefore, we must process our shipments using a UPS compliant shipping solution in conjunction
with hazardous materials shipment preparation. The products that fall into this category are Glues, Adhesives, Cleaners and Primers. They will need to
have a hazardous materials label to be shipped UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select.
Please note ...
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Military Addresses
- May require additional transit days.
- UPS Ground Saturday delivery not available.
- Please use US Priority Mail for all Military Addresses.
- USPS does not allow hazardous material at all.
Flammables
- Flammables ship via UPS Only.
- Flammables less than 1 gallon ship UPS Ground for no additional charge.
- Flammables less than one Gallon are available to certain areas within Canada via UPS Ground.
Please call to see if your city qualifies.
- There is a $35 HAZMAT surcharge for shipping over one gallon.
- There is a $125 HAZMAT surcharge for each flammable item shipped via UPS 3-day, 2-day, or overnight.
- Please call for details on shipping flammables to areas outside of the United States or Canada.
Shipping Methods
USPS Priority Mail:
- Priority Mail - *Allow 3-5 business days for delivery. Available for orders less than $500
- Can use for PO Box and Military Addresses.
- HI, AK & PR may require additional transit days - call for details.
- No Flammables
| UPS Ground Delivery:
- Not available for AK, HI, PR
- Must have physical shipping address - No PO Box Addresses.
- Shipping Credit for a late delivery must be requested within 14 calendar days of delivery date.
- Flammables less then 1 Gallon are OK.
- Flammables 1 Gallon or greater - add $125 flammable fee per container plus std. shipping.
- Orders must be received before 1 PM (PST) for Overnight Delivery. (*USA lower 48 only)
- Orders received on Friday before 1 PM will be shipped on the following Monday.
- Shipping Credit for a late delivery must be requested within 14 calendar days of delivery date

UPS 2-Day Delivery:
- Orders must be received by 1 PM (PST) for 2-Day Delivery. (*USA lower 48 only)
- HI, AK & PR add $10 to std. 2-Day shipping rate. May require additional transit days.
- Must have physical shipping address - No PO Box Addresses.
- Shipping Credit for a late delivery must be requested within 14 calendar days of delivery.
- Flammables OK - Add $125 for each flammable item to the std. Overnight shipping rate.
| UPS 3-Day Select Delivery:
- Orders must be received by 1 PM (PST) for 3-Day Delivery. (USA lower 48 only)
- Delivery is in 3-Days
- Must have physical shipping address - No PO Box Addresses.
- Shipping Credit for a late delivery must be requested within 14 calendar days of delivery date.
- Flammables OK - Add $125 for each flammable item to the std. 3-Day shipping rate.

Non Website Purchases Policy:
Occasionally we do offer certain products at the major internet
auctions, or other avenues. These items are sold as is and are not returnable except for exchange for a like item or better. You will need
to contact us before returning such an item for exchange. You may however return the item in order to upgrade to a different item that you
feel may suit you better, providing the item is unused. Please contact us if this is the case. We do warranty all of these products
against materials and workmanship defects for an inspection period of 30 days.
