Recretec Aluminum Dry Box is back
Recretec Kitchen Dry Box is designed to protect your supplies and give you a handy kitchen counter in camp. It is constructed of premium aluminum with swing carry handles, continuous-steel lid hinge and tension-adjustable latches. Pole pockets and weight-bearing poles provide a quick and easy setup (poles store inside box when not in use). The lid folds down into an elevated counter top.The lids have a squared contact surface formed by bending the aluminum back under and up, making it stronger than traditional "shoe box" lid construction and less likely to gap when they're torqued in heavy whitewater. Lids have a foam seal, and are attached with full length piano hinge, and a pair of spring-loaded latches keeps them tightly closed. Recretec boxes are made of .080" thick 5052 marine aluminum with bottom bends and smooth Heli-arc welded outside corners. Handles and mounting systems are designed to fit a variety of rowing frames. We do not recommend adding a seat on this box, it makes it to heavy when standing up in camp. If you are ordering a custom sized dry box size please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.
Ears: are the hanging brackets, 2 on the front of the Box and 2 on the rear of the Box.
