Aqua Partner Purification Unit

The Aqua Partner is self-contained water purification system capable of supplying from l75-100 gallons of potable water everyday. Out put will vary on conditions such as season, altitude, and time of day. This system uses a patented three-step disinfection/filtration process eliminating everything from dirt and silt to cysts (giardia and cryptosporidium) and microorganisms (viruses, bacteria, fungi, algae, and protozoa). The UV lamp and water pump are powered by a 12 volt gel-cell battery which is recharged by the solar panel. Recharging the battery is as simple as placing the unit facing the sun. The Aqua Partner can be equipped to run from any 12 volt source, enabling the system to continuously produce clean, safe drinking water at the rate of 1 gallon per minute. University of Arizona did the test on this system.

• Ultraviolet Purification: high-intensity, mercury vapor, germicidal lamp.
• Filters: Screen prefilter; 5 micron sediment filter; 0.5 micron activated carbon block filter. Filter configuration can be adapted to specific water conditions.
• Electrical: 10 watt solar panel; 12 volt gel-cell battery; current - 3 amps. (Aqua Partner is available with 12 volt alternate power only.)
• Performance: 99.99% bacteria kill; run time 1.25 - 1.50 hr. / 8 hr. charge; continuous 1 gallon per minute out put from alternate power supply.
• Pelican Case: The case weighs 15 lbs.
• Rocket Box: Weights 35 lbs.
• Solar Panel can be rewired for a larger panel. The battery will charge faster. Small panel only to keep battery topped off on longer  trips.
• Adaptor for car battery or 12 volt system included.
