The larger tubes give the boat more maneuverability, stability, and cargo capacity. This boat can be used by people weighing over 300 lbs., and can still carry all of the gear you would need for a week long trip. The Cutthroat and Fat Cats have the same tube diameters, so the frames are interchangeable. The Fat Cat packs down into a slightly larger package than a Pack Cat, making it ideal for airline travel as well.. Paddles are sold separately. Repair kit included.
