We had this bag made to take the drudgery out of loading and unloading dry bags and gear on long rafting trips. Attachment rings around the bottom and midway up the bag can be used to solidly secure this bag in the cavity of the raft. A draw-rope bag closes around the gear. The huge lid clamps down over the draw-rope bag top. Rings on the lid can be used to keep the gear locked tightly in the raft, even if the raft flips. We tighten the top down using the 1" heavy duty cam buckle straps and carabiner. The straps tighten the load after the carabiner is attached to a d-ring.
The best feature of this bag is, that it will hold no water! Any water quickly drains through the heavy-duty mesh fabric, which is reinforced with 1.5" heavyweight poly webbing.
