Pin and Clip Set - 12" Pin

Many whitewater rafters favor Pins and Clips to open oarlocks. Pins hold the oar in position and keep blades correctly aligned with the water. Our Pins are special grade 5 steel threaded and drilled to be used a lynch pin keeper or split ring. Our Pin top is gray because it does not mark stacked boats. A molded neoprene safety bumper on top prevents injury. Replaceable PVC roller bearings protect pin and clip from wear. We powder-coat the steel clips with a tough and nice-looking finish. Heavy-duty stainless steel hose clamps are approximately three times stronger than standard models. The set contains two 12" pin assemblies (5/8" diameter), two oar clips and four hose clamps for mounting to the oar shaft. Oar Stirrups are recommended.
