Cataract Oar Warranty

1. Oar Shafts - One year warranty against breakage during normal use (while rowing).
2. Oar Blades and Shafts - One warranty against manufacture defect.
3. Kick Boat Oars - One warranty against manufacture defect.
4. Cataract Paddles - One warranty against manufacture defect.

The warranty period begins from the date of sale to the customer if documentation is provided or from the date the item leaves the Salt Lake City plant. Prior to returning an item under warranty, customers will need to return authorization number from Advanced Composites Quality Control department. Items returned without an authorization number will not be accepted. All warranty returns must be accompanied by a sales receipt and a note explaining the circumstances of the warranty claim. Freight charges to return items for warranty inspection are the responsibility of the sender. Valid warranty claims are limited to item repair or a one time replacement of the same or similar item, at Advanced Composites option. Cataract will pay UPS ground charges to return the repaired or new items to the customer for valid warranty returns.

Cataract Oar - SGX

Super-long, extra-stiff SGX is the most ideal oar for those tougher conditions. With a shaft that’s 33% stiffer than our SGG model, the SGX is designed to perform best in larger, heavier boats and to aid in navigating hazardous obstacles. The length begins at 10\', and are only made in blue.
